I don't think Friend Facts can replace Omori, but it was intended to be broken down to be mostly understood by even people who haven't played the game, so if you reeeaally want to you can watch it anyways. This post will likely not make any sense if you have not played all 3 routes, or watched the video at least.

I've already made a post on the borders, so if you would like to read that go on ahead! This post will primarily focus on the writing and miscellaneous.

I don't think Friend Facts can replace Omori, but it was intended to be broken down to be mostly understood by even people who haven't played the game, so if you reeeaally want to you can watch it anyways. Or you could choose not to watch the video and instead just look at the pretty borders, in which case there are no spoilers.

This was part of a longer post about Friend Facts I'm making, since there's a LOT of stuff I made in it I want to cover. I just split it the borders section off because I felt it deserved its very own post instead of being sandwiched between everything else.

This really could've been a segment in one of my many many Omori posts a year ago but I'm making it now sooooo I mean. lol

This post is about parents in Omori specifically and as such has major spoilers wow

Parents in Omori I think are super interesting and kind of underrated in terms of annalyzing the characters. I believe Omocat did a really good job of writing how the parents influenced the child's personality. It can all be traced back to them!

This post will be fully comprehensive because this is a Quo post and if I am going to restrict myself to just one topic I will find any excuse to go on for ages. I'll also source everything I can so you know I'm not just saying stuff I thought of without evidence, and also so you can come to your own conclusions as much of this is speculitive.

hey guys remember like half a year ago when I used to make posts about things other than Omori? IT'S FINALLY THAT TIME AGAIN

so I was a REEAAALLLLLYYYY big Steven Universe fan while it was airing. I consistently watched every new episode, participated in fandom, made up theories, drew my own art, knew all the songs, etc etc.

I HAD AN ARBITRARY RULE, THOUGH, that I was never allowed to rewatch ANY episode until the show was over. I could rewatch whatever the newest ones were, but I could never go back and watch older ones. This was so that I could give myself a unique, nostalgic experience that reminded me of where my life was at that point when I rewatched it.

Then Steven Universe Future came to an end in 2020

and I just. Never got around to it.

I kept intending to rewatch it, I did! It's just one of those things that slipped into the background? Like, I could do it any time. I wasn't in a hurry. And if I was going to watch it, I wanted to do it with my friend Error! BUT we're always watching stuff or playing games, we barely have enough time as it is, we'd have to wait until we have a free moment to pick up a new big show like that!

Then I was Really Really Sad and having the absolute most horrible day in September, hiding from home far away in the dark at nightime and all the solace I had was being able to VC with Error. and I decided......... yeah all I have is the phone, better to watch a show than play games. Let's watch this show I liked.

RIGHT NOW WE'RE AS FAR AS EARLY SEASON 3 but guess what this post isn't here to talk about my renewed thoughts or analyze the music I've been listening to on loop for weeks. No, people already have done that nine years ago. Instead I'm here to talk about an AU I've been writing in the past four days that already has so much content it's difficult to fit into one post and I'm a bit wary to figure out how I'm going to put this all succinctly enough.

It's become a sort of running joke for me now that I keep almost rambling about this but then stop because it's too much to get into so now I'm going to just make an LJ post about it and get this over with

Under the cut there will be discussion of Omori, but not really any spoilers beyond what you can discover within the first hour of gameplay.

There's nothing explicit under cut (i.e. no graphic discussions of sex acts or explicit imagery) but there will be discussion of sexuality in particular when it comes to a teenage character and images vaguely resembling pornography in a cartoonish and abstracted way, as well as mentions of SA and accusations of pedophilia.

I consider it to be PG13 but if you're uncomfortable I recommend passing on this post.

Not an update post, I just wanted to write a post about my thoughts on a particular Omori character, just for my own reference and so that it's easier to explain to others in the future. Now instead of having to type up a new essay every time someone asks, I can just send them a link to this!!!

MAJOR Omori spoilers for both routes under cut. Don't read this unless you've completed the game.

Content warnins typical to Omori, that being discussion of suicide, self hatred, depression, and other depictions of mental illness. Only read this in a good headspace!

I'm BACK and my Omori inflicted depression is WORSE THAN BEFORE but it's ok I got better.

This post is going to be so difficult to write because instead of just explaining images I also need to Remember and paste in rants I had that don't have related drawings. I REFUSE to let this post take 10 hours. And I'm taking breaks instead of hyperfocusing on it from start to finish.

Just a warning, this one is about Omori again so it obviously has trigger warnings from that, but this post especially I go into a lot of detail about self hatred and suicidal ideation. Just a heads up!

So I spent overall like 9 hours on this post, it didn’t even delete itself (that much) this time it’s just 10k words long. I think making more frequent posts would fix this issue. Also I’m not going to be typing these into either LJ or DW anymore they’ve both proven far too unstable to know how to save a drafted post, I’m gonna need to figure something else out.

Quo posting again! Art again, as SHOULD be usual barring any unfortunate accidents.

I also want to let you know all know, I spent 2 hours making this post.... Then it deleted itself. So this is actually me spending another couple hours rewriting what I already did 😢 It's one of the biggest data losses I've had in a while and it reallllyyyy sucked.

I thought I'd use Dreamwidth to write this post because because that way some of the crossposting is already automated for me, which is really important because I want to use my hands as little as possible. Then it somehow deleted my entire post and autosaved a blank copy of it so I couldn't even work off the draft anymore!!! Not a good start, website...

This post isn't going to be half-assed because of that though, I'm going to try to make up for it by trying to make this post better than the original. Second draft... But mannnnn that really sucks the original is gone. Two whole hours!!!
